ESPN Report suggests Deshaun Watson could face further NFL punishment

The Cleveland Browns were aware that Deshaun Watson was the subject of over 20 pending allegations of sexual assault when they acquired him. He resolved most of them, but one case is still open. And now that a motion for additional testimony has been filed, he might be compelled to testify once again.

In 2022, Watson and the league reached a settlement of their own, even if not all cases were resolved. He was hit with an 11-game suspension and fined as a result of that. It was thought that the punishment he received on the field was behind him, but recent reports seem to indicate otherwise.
