JUST IN: Alabama fans react to a former Washington TE transferring to the Crimson Tide

Next season, Alabama football will rely heavily on the tight end position.

Alabama lost Amari Niblack (Texas) and Miles Kitselman to the NCAA transfer site, but it brought back CJ Dippre, Danny Lewis Jr., Robbie Ouzts, and Ty Lockwood. It also added Caleb Odom and Jay Lindsey to its 2024 freshmen class.

Josh Cuevas of Washington was brought in as a tight end by the Crimson Tide.

Cuevas, a Los Angeles (Calif.) native, had four receptions for 164 yards and a touchdown in 2023 for the Huskies. The 6-foot-3, 239-pounder averaged 41 yards per grab as Washington won the Pac-12 Championship and advanced to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.
