The Bears need more players who can create havoc in the backfield despite his production. According to ESPN’s Matt Bowen, Jonathan Greenard would be best suited for the Bears. The 26-year-old recently had his greatest season to date.
Greenard had a pass-rush win percentage of 22% and a sack total of 12.5, which tied him for tenth place in the league. The Florida product is athletic and possesses good edge-bending bend. If Greenard and Sweat were to combine, Chicago would have a strong tag team that could rush the quarterback.
In addition, Greenard’s PFF grade at the end of the season was 78.2. He would take over as a starter right away, aligning himself across from Sweat.
