In the upcoming days, Christian Horner, the principal of Red Bull Racing, is anticipated to receive the results of an inquiry for purportedly unsuitable conduct.
Since the charges became known to the public earlier this month, Horner has been under suspicion.
Horner, the process manager, is believed to have chosen the independent arbiter, a King’s Counsel, whom the 50-year-old attended a long meeting with.
That meeting produced a lengthy set of results, thought to total more than 100 pages of testimony and documentation.
Horner has stayed in his role and insisted on his innocence throughout the probe.
After making an appearance at Red Bull Racing’s season debut, Horner attended preseason testing last week and spoke with the media during the scheduled news conference on Day 2 of the three-day competition.
According to sources, a resolution to the issue is anticipated this week, possibly even today.
It is not anticipated, though, that the media will be informed right away.
Red Bull GmbH will make any decisions on Horner’s future; Red Bull Racing has mainly remained out of the situation as it has developed.
He claimed that although it was a diversion, everything else for the all-conquering mission had continued as usual.
This is true even though a number of competing team managers, the FIA, and Formula 1 Management have all made statements on the subject.
When speaking to the media during testing, the Englishman was obviously exhausted, indicating that it had taken a toll.
There, he fielded inquiries about the subject by saying that it would not be proper to remark because the process was still ongoing.
There is disagreement in the paddock about whether the result will result in the seasoned team principal losing his job.
Having taken over the Milton Keynes business when Red Bull joined the market as a manufacturer in 2005, Horner has become the longest-serving team manager in sports history.
He has won six constructors’ titles and seven drivers’ titles, including four for Sebastian Vettel and three for Max Verstappen.
It distinguishes him as one of the most prosperous team managers in Formula One history.
Cars will take to the track on Thursday to kick off the 2024 Formula One season, but teams will be present at the Bahrain International Circuit tomorrow for the customary pre-event media day.
