BREAKING NEWS: Eagles Head Coach Nick Sirianni Provides a Fresh Hot Update on Jalen Hurts Future at Eagles After Disappointing Season

The Philadelphia Eagles appeared set to go all the way and win the championship last season following a scorching 10-1 start. However, they lost seven of their next eight games, including a heartbreaking Wild Card Round loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the postseason.

Throughout it all, star quarterback Jalen Hurts has received a lot of criticism. The two-time Pro Bowl quarterback was the focal point of Philadelphia’s successful run, so it was only natural that he would be scrutinized as the Eagles faltered.

Philadelphia Eagles Coach Nick Sirianni’s Strong Message to Jalen Hurts

Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
Despite a rough 2023 campaign, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni is confident in the team’s cornerstone quarterback. In fact, the Philadelphia shot-caller just issued an emphatic statement promoting Hurts’ comeback narrative next season:

“Here’s what I know about Jalen, whatever we see that he needs to work on or he sees that he needs to work on, he’s going to get better at that because he puts everything he has into it, and that’s a form of leadership too,” Sirianni stated, as reported by Josh Alper of PFT. “For example, if Jalen sees anything that he believes is a weakness of his or that we believe is a problem of his, he will dive in and throw everything he has into it in order to improve. As if that were leadership. That is a sort of leadership. I’ll keep some of the topics we discussed, like what I need to work on and what he needs to work on, to ourselves. But I know he’ll do everything he can to improve as a football player and quarterback so that we can win more games as a team.”
I don’t see any lies here.

Hurts did not reach his current position without putting in a lot of effort and making sacrifices. The 25-year-old has faced difficulties before, but as Sirianni vehemently argued, he believes Hurts will be able to recover.
There’s little doubt that Hurts, and the rest of the Eagles, will be playing with a chip on their shoulder this season. The rest of the league should be prepared for what’s to come.
