Eric Mateos hopes to capitalize on a strong start to his position as offensive line coach at Arkansas with a strong 2025 recruiting class. Blake Cherry, an offensive line recruit from Owasso, stood out during the Razorbacks’ Junior Day on January 20. Following the camp, head coach Sam Pittman and Mateos extended an offer to the Sooner State native. At that time, the Razorbacks were his ninth offer. Cherry will be able to organize official visits throughout the summer leading up to his senior year.
He informs allHogs that he intends to take an official this summer, but no date has been scheduled. The 6-foot-5, 290-pound lineman has received 12 scholarship offers, with UTEP and Texas A&M joining the mix last week. Cherry has further offers from Colorado State, Nebraska, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, and UNLV. Cherry is only ranked by two of the top four college recruiting sites, Rivals and On3. He is presently ranked No. 834 overall, the No. 76 interior lineman, and Oklahoma’s No. 17 prospect.
Arkansas has offered about 40+ offensive linemen from throughout the country for the 2025 class thus far. Other inside lineman that have received offers from the Razorbacks include Connor Carty (Prosper, Texas), Brock Heath (Overland Park, Kansas), Lionel Prudhomme (Shreveport, Louisiana), and Rahshawn Perry (Covington, Georgia).
Jack Lange of Eureka, Missouri, is one of the Hogs’ top offensive linemen. The 6-foot-8, 275-pound tackle is rated as the No. 116 prospect in the country, the No. 13 player at his position, and the No. 2 recruit in Missouri.
