BREAKING NEWS: Multiple NFL Insider Reveals Los Angeles Rams Are Set for Blockbuster trade for young, high-profile QB

This offseason, the Los Angeles Rams have been strongly linked to NFL trade rumours involving edge rusher Brian Burns. However, there is another young player on the trade market that could catch the attention of head coach Sean McVay and general manager Les Snead.

After making the playoffs in 2023, Los Angeles is anticipated to be fairly aggressive this offseason in terms of squad improvements. There is a tremendous desire to win now in Matthew Stafford and Aaron Donald’s final years of peak performance, fuelling suspicion that some of the Rams’ 2024 draft picks will be spent to acquire win-now players.

Los Angeles Rams cap space in 2024: 440.873 million.

However, McVay and Snead must consider the future. For an organization that is constantly active in the trade market and looking for buy-low possibilities, there is one available this offseason that the team may pursue.
ESPN’s NFL insider Jeremy Fowler identified the Jets as one of the “intriguing options” for a trade involving New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson.

Wilson, the second overall choice in the 2021 NFL Draft, has gotten authorization from Jets general manager Joe Douglas to seek a trade. While the young quarterback is still considering his choices with the assistance of his agent, Fowler says that Wilson “is looking for a skilled offensive head coach and a place to revive his career.”

McVay would be the ideal coach to collaborate with Wilson. Unlike Kyle Shanahan, who has been linked to the San Francisco 49ers, McVay has a more relaxed coaching approach that could help a young quarterback who has recently spent years with Shanahan’s protégé Robert Saleh.
