This season, the Los Angeles Rams had the fifth-lowest sack total in the NFL, and they might improve their defensive line through trades. The Philadelphia Eagles have parted ways with a lot of their talent, including Kevin Byard, and have lost a lot of players to retirement. So, if they move Haason Reddick or Josh Sweat, could the Rams be a possible suitor?
Reddick earned the Pro Bowl this season and was regarded as one of the greatest edge rushers in the NFL. He concluded the season with 13 tackles for loss, 11 of which were sacks. However, he will be 30 later this season and can only assist the squad win right immediately.
Sweat, who is three years younger than Reddick, might be a better long-term addition to the squad if acquired. He concluded the season with 6.5 sacks and two forced fumbles, yet his numbers did not appear to be as spectacular given the Eagles’ defense’s abundance of talented players.
If the Rams were to trade for one of these two guys, it would greatly benefit their defensive line. With the Rams’ defence being so young, they could be just one veteran presence away from busting out and helping the club compete.
