The 2023 season was another strong but unspectacular season for Dallas Cowboys homegrown starting centre. Tyler Biadasz started 16 of 17 games and concluded the final year of his contract with a 69.2 PFF grade, ranking 14th out of 36 eligible players. The Cowboys had a terrific regular season, finishing 12-5 and narrowly won the NFC East. However, their excellent fortunes came to an end with a heartbreaking playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers.
Tyler Biadasz enters the NFL as a fourth-round pick in 2020. Selected the same year that club legend Travis Frederick retired, the Wisconsin product was given the opportunity to start from Week 1. While he was on the offence, he only made four starts and appeared in 12 games.
After a year of adjusting to NFL life, Biadasz earned the starting role in 2021. The fourth-round pick started all 17 games and concluded the season with a 65.1 PFF grade, ranking him 18th among guards. Dallas finished 12-5 this season, capturing the NFC East before falling in the playoffs to the San Francisco 49ers.
Tyler Biadasz followed up with what was perhaps his best season yet. Starting and competing in 16 games, the Wisconsin product received his first Pro Bowl selection for his outstanding year. In a case of déjà vu, the 2022 Dallas Cowboys were defeated in the playoffs by the San Francisco 49ers. The one bright spot is that they advanced from the Wild Card round by defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-14.
Tyler Biadasz has played 61 games, starting 53 of them, since signing his rookie contract.
