According to several reports, Michael Thomas is no longer on the team’s roster. He will not be a saint by 2024. He will look for a new team and should not have too much trouble finding possible suitors.
“Mike Thomas is no longer under contract with the Saints, according to sources. He is now officially a free agent. A formality because his contract was just for a year, but it is now official,” Saints insider Nick Underhill said.

Duncan’s allegation proved to be correct, and Thomas had been scheduled for termination weeks ago. Thomas was one of the league’s best bets when Drew Brees was throwing him the football, but he hasn’t been able to regain that spark after suffering many injuries over the last few seasons. In either case, there should be a team willing to sign him if the correct contract is offered.

Thomas did not solely target Jeff Duncan in his social media outbursts. After going off on Duncan, he shifted his attention to Saints head coach Dennis Allen, who also took a few punches at him.
“It’s because we’re not yes men, so we’re cancers, but under a winning coach, we’re looked at differently,” Thomas responded to a tweet claiming the Saints were attempting to rationalize his release. “It’s a mentality that makes loser’s uncomfortable because they use to losing all they career.”

Thomas suffered a dramatic decline during his time with the New Orleans Saints, moving from one of the greatest in the industry to virtually unknown. Thomas should be highly determined to show himself on his new team.
