On Wednesday, the Arizona Cardinals released one starting offensive lineman and reached an agreement to sign another.
After eight seasons, the Cardinals dismissed D.J. Humphries. The Arizona left tackle tore his anterior cruciate ligament during the Cardinals’ 35-31 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in the season’s next-to-last game on December 31. Humphries was not projected to be ready to play when the 2024 season began.
Arizona agreed to terms with former Alabama All-American Jonah Williams, who became an unrestricted free agent at 3 p.m. CDT after five seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals.
