JUST IN: Los Angeles Rams Meeting With All-Pro Cornerback in NFL Free Agency Amid Potential Trade

The Los Angeles Rams have been working hard to enhance their roster in order to not only return to the playoffs but advance past the Wild Card stage this season. Les Snead, general manager, has added a few crucial additions to the offence, including guard Jonah Jackson and tight end Colby Parkinson. On defence, he has signed safety Kamren Curl and cornerback Darious Williams.

Chris Shula, the defensive coordinator, could soon add another vital element to his defence in 2024.

According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, former Bills All-Pro cornerback Tre’Davious White will visit the Rams later this week. Since being selected 27th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft, White has spent his entire seven-season career with the Buffalo Bills.

However, due to cap limits, the Bills, like the Chargers, were forced to release their two-time Pro Bowl cornerback. Now, the 29-year-old is looking for a new team, and the Rams could be a good fit. It should also be mentioned that White is coming off a torn Achilles tendon, which limited him to only four games in 2023. Nonetheless, when healthy, he’s a reliable playmaker.

If signed, White would most likely be a new starter alongside recently signed Darious Williams and third-year veteran Cobie Durant. More additions may be made as part of the draft.

However, Garafolo points out that the Rams aren’t the only ones interested. They compete alongside the Las Vegas Raiders and a few more unknown clubs. However, only the Raiders and the Rams have scheduled visits with White so far.
