DEAL AGREED: Former NFL general manager, Mike Tannenbaum leaked Who Will Be Broncos Quarterback in 2024

Former NFL general manager Mike Tannenbaum has presented his newest 2024 NFL mock draft. Tannenbaum’s newest mock draft has the Denver Broncos sticking at pick 13 and picking Bo Nix, Oregon’s 2023 Heisman Trophy finalist, as their future franchise signal caller.
“Obviously, Denver is in transition as quarterback after releasing Russell Wilson. In 2023, Nix had the nation’s highest completion rate at 77.4%, with 45 touchdown passes and three interceptions. He has the precision and anticipation to thrive in Sean Payton’s scheme. The major worry would be arm strength. His long balls fluttered at times during the Senior Bowl, which matches what I saw on tape. It may limit his potential, but it is also something Payton can work with and improve.”

Denver Broncos’ drama with Russell Wilson couds the early 2024 off-season.

Russell Wilson signed a five-year, $242 million contract with the Denver Broncos after being traded from his longtime team, the Seattle Seahawks, after the 2021 season. The club swallowed the bullet and parted ways amicably with the potential future Hall of Fame quarterback before the start of the new league year on March 1.

Wilson signed a one-year, veteran minimum contract ($1.21 million) with the Pittsburgh Steelers immediately after his departure from the Broncos was announced. While Wilson will allegedly be starting in Pittsburgh following the team sending previous first-round pick, Kenny Pickett to the Philadelphia Eagles, Denver will still be paying Wilson $39 million to not play for them in 2024.
