On Monday night, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was mocked by his wife, Brittany, on her Instagram story for eating too much ice cream.
According to Brittany, Patrick consumes ten mini-ice cream cones per night. The small sweets consist of a vanilla cone with a chocolate-coated covering over the ice cream.
Mahomes is still in fine enough shape to lead the Chiefs to three Super Bowl triumphs over the last five seasons.
Since Kansas City’s last title triumph over San Francisco last month, Mahomes has spent his offseason vacationing in Mexico and spending time with Brittany and their family.
Mahomes also gained popularity for his dad-bod, which teammate Rashee Rice converted into a t-shirt. It’s unknown whether his ice cream consumption contributed to his physique.
‘Does anyone else consume 10 of these per night? Because he does. ‘Not me,’ Brittany wrote on Instagram, with an arrow pointing toward Patrick and a laugh emoji.
Brittany previously posted an Instagram story on Monday showing a macaroon with a bite out of it and a pint of ice cream.
It’s unknown if Patrick had that in addition to his ten ice creams every night.
Mahomes’ affinity for ice cream has made news previously.
Last October, during an episode of the ‘New Heights’ podcast hosted by Mahomes’ teammate Travis Kelce and his older brother Jason Kelce, Mahomes’ love of Dippin’ Dots was discussed.
‘It’s funny that Dippin’ Dots is only available in amusement parks,’ Jason Kelce noted. Like, where have you seen Dippin’ Dots? I mean, at sporting events, I’ve seen some Dippin’ Dots.
‘I saw them at Pat Mahomes’ garage,’ Travis said. ‘He has a freezer full of Dippin’ Dots.
Jason Kelce watched on in astonishment as he imagined Mahomes’ freezer full of flash-frozen ice cream.
