JUST IN: Ex-Bills WR Spark a Huge Controversy Over Bills leaked QB Controversial Trade For Top Target

Cole Beasley, a former Buffalo Bills wide receiver, is unhappy with the wardrobe choices of this year’s top QB prospect.

Beasley resorted to social media on March 30 to express his disgust with USC quarterback Caleb Williams, who was observed at an NCAA basketball game wearing painted nails and a pink cell phone case. Despite Williams’ explanation of the deeper meaning underlying his dress choices, Beasley did not appear pleased with Williams.
“I can’t with these guys. “Lol,” Beasley wrote in a post on X.

This wasn’t the first time Beasley criticized Williams for his painted nails. In January, the former wide receiver voiced unhappiness with the quarterback who is likely to be the first overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.

“What’s up with all these dudes painting their nails nowadays?” Beasley wrote about X. “That ain’t it….”

Beasley faced criticism for the March 30 post, but responded in a post on X, saying he disagreed with a “world that is trying to make it ok for a boy to just be a girl all of a sudden.”

“Handing out awards for courage for pretending to be something you’re not,” Beasley said in a blog post. “I’m attempting to raise kids in a world that is becoming increasingly complex. Do anything you want, but quit promoting crap as if it were admirable.

As Tori Rubinstein of NBC Sports Chicago pointed out, Williams has acknowledged that his painted nails are more than just a fashion statement. Williams claimed he established it as a tribute to his mother, who worked in a nail salon.

“It started about three years ago,” Williams added. “It was my final year of high school. My mother does nails. Let’s start there. She has done that my entire life. It’s just always been with me. Nobody else does this. I just like to try new things.”

Beasley has been involved in numerous controversies since his stint with the Bills. He was a vocal critic of the league’s COVID-19 protocols and took digs at the team following his departure after the 2022 season.

Beasley stated in an interview with Outkick released on July 12, 2023, that the mood around the team changed for him after the epidemic began.

“It was different within the company, in the facility, and among the fans. I adored Buffalo during my first year there and rediscovered my passion of football. And I appreciated it. But after Covid hit, everything changed.”

“I mean the fans are one thing, but the people in the building is another thing,” Beasley said. “That impacted me more than the fans. Even in Dallas, I’ve had to deal with supporters that treated me poorly. So, that was something I could handle. But when you start to notice changes within the organization, with how others treat you, that’s a different story.”

Beasley also singled out Bills great Bruce Smith, who helped the franchise promote vaccinations among players.
