BREAKING NEWS: Kevin Stefanski Reveals Latest Update On Injured Backup QB and

While much of the Cleveland Browns’ injury news this offseason has focused on quarterback Deshaun Watson, the team also has another player at the same position who is on the mend.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson, a second-year quarterback, suffered a hip injury during the team’s Week 16 game against the Houston Texans.

Since the game, there has been little public discussion of Thompson-Robinson’s injuries or recuperation.

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski officially revealed when Thompson-Robinson could return to action for the 2018 season.
Mary Kay Cabot tweeted Stefanski’s statement to Thompson-Robinson’s recuperation, saying, “We’ll see when he’s ready to go” in reference to DTR’s possible comeback date.
Thompson-Robinson has been working hard in rehab to make his comeback to the field, Stefanski said.

The quarterback appeared in nine games for the Browns during his debut season before being placed on injured reserve due to a hip ailment.

Thompson-Robinson made his first start in Week 4, replacing an injured Watson, and went 19-of-36 for 121 passing yards and three interceptions in a 28-3 loss to Baltimore.

Cleveland asked the 24-year-old athlete to start again in Pittsburgh for their Week 11 game.

Thompson-Robinson won his debut game as a professional quarterback, with 165 passing yards and no interceptions.

Thompson-Robinson departed the Denver game the next week with a concussion, marking his third and final start of the 2023 season.
