Ryan Montgomery, a four-star quarterback from Findlay (Ohio), is preparing to make his selection. The No. 186 overall prospect in the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings will make his college decision on April 17.

He has flirted with a timeline several times, but has made significant changes in the previous few months. Montgomery is now preparing to make his decision.

He will have three schools on his board. Georgia borders Florida and South Carolina. The Bulldogs have recently made a strong showing. Georgia passed on four-star Matt Zollers two weeks ago. Five-star Julian Lewis is now committed to USC but is a top target for Georgia.

Georgia’s communication has also improved in recent weeks. Florida also made a strong visit to Montgomery two weeks ago.

Montgomery is scheduled to visit South Carolina on Saturday. The four-star signal-caller has also visited Georgia several times.

The Bulldogs brought him on campus in January. He felt the visit answered many questions regarding Georgia.

“This (recent) visit was super important just to get all my questions answered and see where we are,” Montgomery explained on Jan. 30. “There is a lot of mutual interest. I’m in a fairly good situation with Georgia right now.”
Currently, On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine favours South Carolina. The Gamecocks have a 56.8 percent probability of signing the four-star signal caller. Georgia may possibly be in a better position than RPM suggests.
