Jayden Daniels of LSU is one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft. While the Chicago Bears are projected to choose Caleb Williams first overall, many predict the Washington Commanders could draft Daniels second overall.
As previously stated, the Vikings own the 11th and 23rd overall picks in the first round. While Daniels is likely to be gone by the 11th pick, Minnesota does have two first-round picks, which allows them to move up in the draft if necessary.
Ryan Fowler of Bleacher Report feels they should do so since they are the greatest landing point for Daniels among all NFL teams.
In an ideal world, the Bears sign Caleb Williams, Washington signs Drake Maye, and Minnesota can trade up (most likely to No. 3) to get Jayden Daniels.
The LSU product’s spectacular playmaking abilities and vertical precision would fit well into Kevin O’Connell’s offence.
