BREAKING NEWS: QB J.J. McCarthy Reveals His Intentions About Signing For Vikings Amidst his Father Advice

The Minnesota Vikings want a new quarterback, and it appears that the new quarterback also wants to play for them.

Over the last few weeks, they’ve been rumoured to be in the running to trade up to the top five for J.J. McCarthy.
And, based on his most recent comments, McCarthy appears to be eager to bring his abilities to the Twin Cities.

When asked by Adam Schefter about the possibility of becoming a Viking, the Michigan product stated that he would go through a brick wall for coach Kevin O’Connell, adding that he is completely on board with what he wants to establish on a football club.

“It would mean the world…” Coach O’Connell is someone I’d go to great lengths for. McCarthy remarked, “Everything he wants to do with a football team, I believe I want to be a part of.”
The Vikings now have two first-round picks and are reportedly hoping to trade up with the Arizona Cardinals or Los Angeles Chargers at No. 4 or No. 5 to grab their next franchise quarterback.

McCarthy has been the greatest winner of the pre-draft process, and numerous clubs would want to have the opportunity to take him, which is why they must get past the New York Giants, who are set to pick sixth.
The Vikings were also allegedly keeping an eye on UNC star Drake Maye, but with him slated to be the No. 3 pick by the New England Patriots, that doesn’t appear probable now.
