HUGE DEAL CONFIRMED: South Carolina HC Responds Saint Massive Bid for Experienced QB

Quarterback Spencer Rattler has been the subject of some speculation since falling to the fifth round of the NFL Draft, and his college coach is not pleased.

South Carolina coach Shane Beamer commented on social media to some of the stories that have been written about Rattler. In response to ESPN’s Pete Thamel’s suggestion that teams were concerned about Rattler’s size, temperament, and work ethic, Beamer slammed the rumours as “tired” and “lazy” and predicted that Rattler would be a future NFL starter.

None of the NFL teams that contacted me said that, and any team that believes that has definitely not done their homework,” Beamer wrote on X. “He dealt with adversity at Oklahoma, came to SC, was a great player, and was voted captain by his teammates twice in a row.”

“He’s a great person, great player and some team is getting a future starter today.”

Some NFL execs may have been fixated on Rattler’s behaviour in a five-year-old reality show. Beamer clearly does not share these concerns.
