Josh Allen, the Buffalo Bills quarterback, had a lot of praise for his new wide out.
Keon Coleman, Buffalo’s No. 33 overall pick, shared the text message he received from Allen after the team announced their selection. Allen told Coleman that he had seen a lot of draft-eligible wide receivers, but Coleman was the one the quarterback preferred.
“He texted me the day of and said, ‘You’re the guy I want.'” I’ve watched a lot of receivers, and I want to play with you.” Coleman stated this via Patrick Warren of the team’s official website. “And I have been saying the same thing. I want to play with the guy wearing number 17. I think he’s an excellent quarterback, one of the greatest in the game right now, and I’d love to catch passes from him. “I’m ready for that.”
Allen clearly needed someone to catch his throws after the team traded Stefon Diggs to Houston. Coleman was their first major attempt to address that issue. So far, it appears to be a popular choice, as Coleman has swiftly won over Buffalo fans.
In 2023, Coleman led Florida State in receiving yards (658) and touchdowns (11). He might easily establish himself as a key member of the Buffalo offence.itter
