Greg Rousseau’s NFL career has gotten off to a good start.
Greg Rousseau was selected by the Bills in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, 30th overall. In 46 games and 46 starts, Rousseau has accumulated 129 tackles, 30 TFLs, 42 QB hits, 17 sacks, one interception, 12 pass deflections, and three forced fumbles.

Rousseau’s rookie campaign was passable. With 50 tackles, 8 TFLs, 10 QB hits, 4 sacks, 1 interception, 4 pass deflections, 1 forced fumble, and a 70.2 PFF grade, he began every game with those stats. With eight tackles, four tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, and three sacks, he placed second overall.

In his second season, Rousseau had his greatest statistical season. With thirteen starts out of thirteen games, he finished with an 83.6 PFF grade, 37 tackles, ten TFLs, fourteen quarterback hits, eight sacks, four pass deflections, and one forced fumble. He was first in quarterback hits, first in sacks, second in tackles for loss, and ninth in total tackles.

Even though his numbers slightly decreased in his third season, Rousseau was still a productive player. With 42 tackles, 12 TFLs, 18 QB hits, five sacks, four pass deflections, one forced fumble, and an 85.6 PFF grade, he participated in 16 games, starting 16. He was second in tackles for loss, fifth in sacks, ninth in tackles, and second in quarterback hits.

The Bills had a lacklustre offseason, but they kept two pass rushers on the team.

A.J. Epenesa signed a two-year, $12 million contract with the Bills. Epenesa has become into a trustworthy pass rusher. In 58 games with four starts, he has amassed 64 tackles, 19 TFLs, 33 QB hits, and 15.5 sacks.

The contract of their Pro Bowl edge rusher was also altered by the Bills.

A compensation reduction was agreed upon between the Buffalo Bills and its Pro Bowl pass rusher.
