The Miami Hurricanes football opener against the Florida Gators now has a kickoff time and a television network.

The game will take place at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Saturday, August 31 at 3:30 p.m., and will be broadcast nationally on ABC, according to an ESPN release on Tuesday morning.

It is the first meeting between the clubs since UM’s 24-20 loss to UF in the 2019 Camping World Kickoff. UM leads the all-time series 29–27. The Gators are coming off a 5-7 season; UM finished 7-6 in 2023.

Hurricane Club members can request tickets for this year’s game (and all away games) between May 20 and June 21, according to UM.

The Hurricanes will face the Gators at Hard Rock Stadium in September 2025.

This season’s Canes-Gators opener is the middle game in an intriguing ABC triple-header that day, which also includes Clemson-Georgia at noon and Notre Dame-Texas A&M at 7:30. Colorado State-Texas will air on ESPN, alongside UM-UF.

FSU’s Labour Day night game at home versus Boston College will be broadcast on ESPN, a week after the Seminoles play Georgia Tech at noon on August 24 in Ireland.

Southern California will face LSU in Las Vegas on Sunday night, September 1, on ABC.

Keep in mind that, in addition to possessing Atlantic Coast Conference television rights, ESPN/ABC will have exclusive Southeastern Conference TV rights starting this season.
