DEAL AGREED: Florida State On The Verge Of landing 4-star DL Over Florida, USC and Miami

Myron Charles is an important aspect of Florida State’s 2025 recruiting strategy. That’s both real and figurative, given that Charles is a rising senior in high school, standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 295 pounds.

Charles is not only a top defensive line recruit, but he is also an in-state recruit, having grown up in Port Charlotte, Florida. According to head coach Mike Norvell, these are the types of recruits FSU has to attract in order to remain a championship contender.

The good news for Florida State, at least, is that as the Seminoles prepare for multiple scheduled official visits, the recruiting trail experts are optimistic about their chances of landing the huge defensive lineman.

“I admire Florida State’s current situation with Myron Charles. I spoke with him this week, and I believe they will continue to set the pace in this recruitment,” On3’s Steve Wiltfong recently stated. “Another program to keep an eye on is Texas, but the Seminoles, their play style, and how the coach develops defensive lineman. Being around outstanding players, as well as the spirit of this coaching staff, are all qualities that he values at the moment. I believe Florida State is in pole position when he begins his official trips.”
