Daylen Baldwin, a former Jackson State player who excelled under Deion Sanders in his first season with the Tigers in Spring 2021, has signed with the Atlanta Falcons. Baldwin made the announcement on his Instagram feed, in partnership with Peters Sports Management.
“Congratulations to @daylenbaldwin2 on signing a contract with the Atlanta Falcons. “No one can stop what God has planned for you,” the caption stated.
Baldwin demonstrated his football prowess while attending Morgan State and Jackson State, both HBCUs. He eventually moved to Michigan as a graduate student to continue his athletic and academic career.
During his rookie year at Morgan State in 2017, he played in 11 games and recorded 16 catches for 181 yards and a score. Building on his success, he appeared in 14 games during his sophomore year, catching 14 passes for 152 yards and another touchdown.
