Five-star class of 2025 wide receiver Jaime Ffrench has whittled his college options down to three, and incoming SEC program Texas is the front-runner.
Per On3, Ffrench is also considering LSU, his current second option, and Miami, which is third.
The update is a bit of a shock, considering 247Sports gave Ohio State a 100 percent chance to land the talented prospect, which is apparently 100 percentage points too high.
Ffrench is the No. 25 overall prospect in the 2025 class and the fourth-best wide receiver. Dakorien Moore is 247Sports’ top-ranked wideout and has also received interest from the Longhorns. If both land at Texas, the duo could give quarterback Arch Manning two elite targets as he likely takes over for Quinn Ewers next season.
The Longhorns currently have the No. 16 recruiting class in 2025, while Miami sits at No. 29.
LSU has the fifth-best recruiting class, led by 2025’s top-ranked prospect, quarterback Bryce Underwood.
