BROWNS LATEST NEWS: NFL Chiefs Issues a Shocking Update on Browns Star Myles Garrett

Myles Garrett has been a menace since the Cleveland Browns selected him first overall in the 2017 NFL Draft from Texas A&M. Opposing teams had trouble blocking him from the time he walked on the field, and he concluded his rookie season with 31 tackles and seven sacks in 11 games.

Garrett has scored in the double digits every year since then. In 2021, he set a team record for single-season sacks with 16 and tied it again in 2022. Then, in 2023, he recorded 14 sacks and 37 quarterback pressures. Garrett had such an impact that he finished 10th in the AP voting for NFL MVP and won the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award.

Garrett’s domination should continue into 2024, which is why Trevor Sikkema of Pro Football Focus ranks him as the NFL’s No. 1 pass rusher for the year. According to Sikkema, Garrett had a “elite pass-rush grade” for the fifth consecutive year in 2023.

“Garrett was nothing short of brilliant in 2023, earning a league-best 94.7 pass-rush grade. What else is new? His 27.3% pass-rush victory rate was among the highest in PFF history.” – Sikkema, PFF

Garrett finished ahead of Dallas Cowboys’ Micah Parsons and San Francisco 49ers’ Nick Bosa. T.J. Watt finished fourth, which will irritate Pittsburgh Steelers fans who refuse to accept Garrett is the better player, despite the fact that many who play the game agree.
