As Alabama football players prepare to push through summer practices, Kalen DeBoer believes they are demonstrating the characteristics of a squad with something to prove.
DeBoer addressed the media at the SEC spring meetings in Destin, Florida, on Tuesday. According to Nick Kelly, a Tuscaloosa News reporter, DeBoer is ‘happy by the hunger’ he sees among Tide players.
“Whether it’s to prove people right or prove people wrong, I don’t know,” DeBoer stated. “Some folks are excited to see what it looks like. Others are expressing doubt…It certainly fits with their LANK mindset. I’m looking forward to seeing how they improve this summer and how we can build on what we did in the spring.”
The Crimson Tide have seen a significant shift in recent months, with Nick Saban retiring and many players transferring in and out of the program.
Things appear to be cooling down and fitting into place for Alabama ahead of the summer workouts.
