HUGE REACTION: WNBA Could Suspend Caitlin Clark Amid Viral Tweet By Boyfriend to Chennedy Carter Foul Aim at Destroying WNBA World

The flagrant charge committed by Chicago Sky guard Chennedy Carter on Indiana Fever freshman Caitlin Clark during the two teams’ June 1 game has been a hot topic of discussion.

Carter’s foul on Clark occurred late in the third quarter, away from the ball. Initially, it was not classified as a flagrant, but the WNBA eventually upped it to a Flagrant 1. On June 3, Sky head coach Teresa Weatherspoon made a statement calling Carter’s behaviour “not appropriate.”

Clark’s boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, “liked” some extremely illuminating postings on X, including one that noted Sky rookie Angel Reese’s response to the foul: “Angel Reese hopping off the bench to throw a parade for Caitlin Clark’s murder is crazy lollll.”

Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend Connor McCaffery also ‘liked’ the post Begging Fever to Add Enforcer After Chennedy.

McCaffery, a former men’s basketball player at the University of Iowa, understands the physical nature of the game. Carter’s shoulder check is on Clark went beyond physicality and into the realm of cheap shots, prompting calls for the Fever to bring in an enforcer.

Golden State Warriors player Draymond Green was among those who made the suggestion, writing in an Instagram comment: “Indiana should go invest in an enforcer. FAST!”

McCaffery appears to agree, liking other postings expressing the same sentiment, including one that read: “Idk who the James Johnson of the WNBA is, but whoever it is, the Fever need to get them asap.”

For those who are unaware, James Johnson is an experienced NBA big man who recently completed his second season with the Indiana Pacers. Johnson, an accomplished martial artist, is known for displaying his strength when his teammates are being targeted. In The Athletic’s “Anonymous NBA player poll 2024,” Johnson was selected the player others in the league would “least like to fight.” He received 53.6 percent of the vote.

Is he still in the league? He is a triple black belt. “I’m not (expletive) with James,” one athlete told The Athletic during the survey. “There are other individuals where I might lose the fight, but I’m not f-cking with James. “He might kick me in the head.”

“At first, it was just like it had always been. It was just kind of easy how everything turned out, you know.”

The Iowa men’s basketball alum also mentioned Clark’s competitive attitude as one of her most admirable qualities. “She’s fierce, and I love it,” he continued.
