The (Robbie) Chosen One has an opportunity with a new NFC team.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, free agent wide receiver Robbie Chosen will attend minicamp with the Seattle Seahawks this week. Chosen will try out for the Seattle roster, Pelissero says.
Chosen, 31, an eight-season NFL veteran, is now better renowned for his varied antics than his football abilities. Over the previous few years, he has gone by numerous names (Robby Anderson, Robbie Anderson, Chosen Anderson, and now Robbie Chosen). Furthermore, Chosen’s infamous sideline outburst as a Carolina Panther in 2022 resulted in his trade.
Chosen played in only nine games for the Miami Dolphins last season, catching four catches for 126 yards and one touchdown. However, he is only a few years off from his 1,096-yard season with the Panthers in 2020. The Seahawks, who recently signed an ex-Chosen colleague in Carolina, will now test the waters with the wide receiver.
