A little more than a week after naming Tennessee as his leader following another visit with the Vols, Onis Konanbanny returned from his most recent official visit with another program at the top of his list. His weekend visit to Florida State was not his first trip there, but it pleased him enough to name the Seminoles the team to defeat.
The Vols will still have another chance to host the four-star Class of 2025 cornerback from Heathwood Hall Episcopal School in Columbia, S.C., later this month when he returns to Tennessee for an official visit the weekend of June 21, just before the start of an approximately month-long recruiting dead period. But Konanbanny didn’t have to wait long to get back to Knoxville.
