HOT GIST: MLB Top Insider Reveals Yankees Have Made Contact and are in Advance Talks to MLB Red Hot Manager to Replace Aaron Boone

Alex Cora is currently the manager of the Boston Red Sox. However, this could change tomorrow or next year.

The Red Sox enter today’s MLB games with a 34-34 record. It’s not attractive, but with all of Boston’s injuries, Cora’s performance so far has been excellent.

However, it is a long season, and the Red Sox and/or Cora may opt to part ways if they miss the playoffs for the third straight season. That is not what respected MLB expert Ken Rosenthal expects to happen, but in baseball, anything is possible.

During a recent appearance on Foul Territory TV, Rosenthal was asked which team he believes Cora would manage next year. His initial response was the Red Sox, but things got fascinating after that, with even the New York Yankees considered as a viable option if Aaron Boone fails to fulfill expectations in October.

Alex Cora allegedly bragged to Red Sox members about the Astros cheating to get a title: 'We stole that World Series' | Marca
“First and foremost, I’m including Boston on this list. I don’t rule out the possibility that the Red Sox will not hire Alex Cora next year. We can look at several teams that may have openings if things don’t go as planned. And I’m talking about large squads. The Dodgers are one, the Yankees are another, the Cardinals are a third, and there are plenty others. It will be very intriguing to watch what Alex Cora decides. He’s frequently expressed a desire to be with his family, particularly his children. Could he take the year off? Yes, I believe he could take a year off or maybe move into a front-office position. But it appears he will be this year’s Craig Counsell.

Aaron Boone enjoying managerial process, not worried Yankees losses

Counsell’s contract with the Milwaukee Brewers expired last summer, allowing him to pursue a lucrative offer from the Chicago Cubs instead. It’s likely Cora follows a similar road to a better contract, but will it be with Boston or another MLB team?
