The New Orleans Saints aren’t done building their roster.
Hours after agreeing to terms with former Tulane safety Roderick Teamer, the Saints signed cornerback Mac McCain. McCain, 26, was most recently with the San Antonio Brahmas in the United Football League, but he has previous NFL experience.
The 6-foot, 185-pound cornerback has spent time with the Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, and Carolina Panthers. His only playing action came in the 2021 season, when he appeared in two games for the Eagles and made three tackles.
To make place for McCain, the Saints dismissed defensive end Nathan Latu.
