DONE DEAL: The New Orlean Saint Have Officially Completed The Signing of Las Vegas Raiders Top Most Experienced Star in Sensational Roster Addition

The New Orleans Saints have signed a Louisiana native ahead of their 2024 training camp next month. The New Orleans native will have a second opportunity in the NFL with his hometown team after being dismissed by the Las Vegas Raiders last season following an arrest.

The Saints are altering their 90-man roster after OTAs in order to have more competitiveness during training camp.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Raiders have signed safety Roderic Teamer to their roster. He attended Brother Martin High School and Tulane University, where he played football.

The Los Angeles Chargers signed Teamer as an undrafted free agent in 2019. At the age of 27, he has played for both the Indianapolis Colts and the Oakland Raiders. The 5-foot-10, 187-pound safety has played in 40 games and started 11 of them. He has made 103 total tackles and intercepted one pass.
Roderick Teamer was arrested during the 2023 season.
According to 8 News Now, Teamer was detained in November on alleged DUI and basic speeding offences after exceeding the posted speed limit by 21-30 mph.

Former Las Vegas Raider Roderic Teamer was detained by the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol after reportedly driving over 90 mph while high on marijuana, according to the declaration of arrest.

On November 25 about 10:15 p.m., a Metro officer engaging in a DUI Blitz saw a Dodge Durango speeding at 91 mph in a 65 mph zone on the 215 near Jones Boulevard.

Teamer confirmed to authorities that he had consumed marijuana earlier in the day, but claimed he had not smoked in the vehicle before the traffic check.

The Raiders released Teamer following his arrest.

The Raiders stated the next day that they would release Teamer. As previously noted on GH, head coach Antonio Pierce stated that Teamer’s circumstance was something Raiders players should learn from.

“Whatever you do on and off the field affects the decision that’s going to be made in this building, and we’re going to do the best to protect the brand, the shield and the Raiders organization,” according to Pierce.

The Saints will give Teamer another chance in the NFL during training camp.
