THE FINAL VERDICT: Miami Heat Owner Micky Arison Issues a Final Shocking Verdict On Jimmy Butler Future At the Heat

The Miami Heat may have already made up their mind on Jimmy Butler’s future with the team.

In a new offseason preview, Howard Beck of The Ringer writes that rival executives have been “buzzing” for months about the Heat dealing Butler. This is considered as a possible consequence due to Heat president Pat Riley’s predilection for selling players before they become problems, as well as the 35-year-old’s one-year contract.

Jimmy Butler likely to be traded by Heat?
Butler wants a two-year agreement at about $113 million, which would effectively end Miami’s prospects of adding a second star to their team. The Heat are also aware that they have slipped behind in the Eastern Conference with their existing core, indicating that change is probable.

Riley obviously hinted that his tolerance with Butler was getting low. His contractual demands are the main issue, and they will most likely force the Heat to sell him now rather than let him to leave for nothing in a year.
