Many do not expect the Denver Broncos to have a successful season in 2024. These concerns arise from their problems last season, the addition of a rookie quarterback to the offence, and general issues about the surrounding group.

Assuming the North Carolina product is back to 100% and McLaughlin is ready to contribute in the third-down role, this backfield has a lot of potential to help this squad improve by 2024. Even if Williams never regains full strength, newcomers Audric Estime and Blake Watson might help the squad maintain its ground game.

Defensively, the club is thin but boasts a solid starting lineup. But the real question will be in the pass-rush department.

Jonathon Cooper, Baron Browning, and Nik Bonitto are all fascinating prospects, but they must take the next step to establish themselves. Finding methods to restrict early down success is critical for the unit to get off the field and return the ball to the offense’s hands.
Expectations are low in Denver, and those thoughts are not unwarranted, yet this squad isn’t as far away from victory as many people assume. Keep an eye on them as they could surprise this season and compete for a Wild Card position.
