HEAT BREAKING NEWS: Jimmy Butler To Remain With Heat

According to ESPN’s NBA analyst Brian Windhorst, Jimmy Butler will remain with the Miami Heat.

Butler is contract-eligible this offseason, and NBA reporter Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald expects him to pursue a two-year agreement at around $113 million.

Windhorst reports that Butler will not want a trade if the Heat do not extend his contract.
Butler will earn $48.8 million next season. He has a player option worth $52.4 million for the 2025–26 season.

In the first round of this year’s postseason, the Heat were defeated in five games by the Boston Celtics. Butler did not play due to a knee issue.
