HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT: Ross Chastain Reflects His NASCAR Career As He Made A Huge Announcement Following a Brutal Conflict with NASCAR Drivers and PS

NASCAR will be in Nashville this weekend. The 2019 race will mark the fourth time the Cup Series field has competed at the Superspeedway since it reopened in 2021. Ross Chastain of Trackhouse Racing, who won in 2023, is now looking to quadruple his win total and claim a position in the 2024 playoffs.

When asked about his first race win, the Trackhouse Racing hero adds, “It was definitely a career highlight. We had one of those magical weekends and went out to perform. I was wondering if I was coming around the bend, and there were times when I intentionally lifted off to get out of a scenario that I didn’t believe was worth it.”

“So, yes. I’m really proud of that. I’ve been trying to put something like that together for some weeks now.” That was his first win in 2023. It’s only fair that his first win of 2024 comes on the same track. However, this time, there is no single criteria that will determine success. He believes that the balance of his car and avoiding mistakes on the pit road will improve his chances of winning.

The driver stated that he was upset that he had not won a race so far into the season. He reflected on the opportunities he had wasted due to minor blunders and intended to make amends in the next races. Chastain is currently ranked eighth on the points table. While he could join the playoffs without visiting victory lane, he would prefer to do it with a win.
Chastain’s full-time profession began as a hobby.

Chastain reminisced with Jonathan Ramos, a sports broadcaster at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. He talked out about his road to become a stock car racing star. He explained, “It was a hobby [racing]. We farmed [watermelons], and it was something I aspired to do when I grew older. We raced for enjoyment, starting at small tracks.

Because of his extraordinary driving ability, the hobby quickly evolved into a business. Speed also brought Chastain’s family closer together and set him on the path of racing for a living. “The NASCAR side was only going to have one bucket list Truck race. That one race from 2011. It’s clearly paid off well. We had no plans. They did not prepare me to be a NASCAR driver.”
