MLB TRADE REPORT: Phillies Have Reached Full Agreement to Sign MLB Top Relievers “A Decorated Prolific Star” Following Injury Scared From Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, and J.T. Realmuto

This summer, Philadelphia Phillies rumours have aggressively linked the team to top relievers available before the MLB trade deadline. However, despite persistent troubles with the Phillies’ lineup, another position and specific player is apparently being considered.
While the Phillies are near the top of the MLB standings, they’ve had some stormy play recently. Injury is primarily to blame, with Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, and J.T. Realmuto all on the injured list. However, it has also highlighted holes in the Phillies’ lineup.

Bryce Harper's absence should lead to Phillies lineup tinkering

Despite having subpar productivity from a number of players, Philadelphia has one of baseball’s finest records. Nick Castellanos (.689 OPS), Johan Rohas (.557 OPS), and David Dahl (.638 OPS) have all struggled this year. Even when Harper, Realmuto, and Schwarber return, Philadelphia recognizes that upgrades are required.
According to USA Today’s Bob Nightengale, the Phillies are “keeping a close eye on” Oakland Athletics outfielder Brent Rooker as the MLB trade deadline approaches.

Fantasy baseball: Time to put Brent Rooker on trading block
Philadelphia Phillies outfielder numbers (FanGraphs):.642 OPS (28th in MLB),.230/.293/.349, 83 wRC_ (28th in MLB), and.285 wOBA.
Rooker -.277/.351/.540,.891 OPS – would provide an excellent right-handed bat to the Phillies’ lineup. In his last 741 at-bats, Rooker has a.258/.337/.507 batting line, a.845 OPS, and 48 home homers. He’s also under contract until 2027, with arbitration control through his age-32 season.
While Rooker is a poor defensive player (-2 Outs Above Average), he would provide enormous power for Philadelphia and might be a long-term solution to the problem in the corner outfield. Plus, with the Athletics rebuilding and Rooker at 29 years old, he is more likely to be moved.
