The Los Angeles Dodgers are reportedly looking to improve their rotation ahead of the MLB trade deadline next week.
It makes sense given how many injuries the Dodgers have suffered with in that region. But, with Clayton Kershaw and Tyler Glasnow coming from the injured list, Los Angeles may adjust its focus to some extent.
The Dodgers undoubtedly have a need in the outfield. Despite having a 60-41 record and leading the National League West, an upgrade might be made here.
Andy Pages is hitting.252, with eight home runs and 28 RBIs. Meanwhile, veteran Jason Heyward is hitting just.203 with a.710 OPS.
Perhaps the Dodgers will pursue a package trade that includes both an outfielder and a starting pitcher. The squad is clearly a World Series contender and is looking to win right now.

Los Angeles Dodgers are interested in Tampa Bay Rays All-Star. Randy Arozarena prior of the MLB trade deadline.
Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reported on Tuesday that the Dodgers are looking for a substantial boost in the outfield. He also mentioned that Los Angeles is interested in this former All-Star for the Tampa Bay Rays.
It is unclear whether this season’s Arozarena will be seen as an advance. He’s hitting just.211 with an OPS of.708.
The 29-year-old Cuban native is coming off three seasons of 20 or more home runs. This season, the Los Angeles outfield has lacked that type of power.
As previously reported, the Dodgers have been in talks with the Chicago White Sox about All-Star outfielder Luis Robert Jr. It’s evident that they intend to be active within the next week or so.
Regarding a potential larger trade with Tampa Bay, pitcher Zach Eflin has recently been mentioned in MLB trade rumours.
