A QUICK DEAL: Atlanta Brave Have Quickly Move to Hijack Trade to Land MLB Veteran Star Pitcher Ahead Of MLB Trade Deadline – Deal Already Agreed.

The injury-prone The Atlanta Braves have not been performing well recently. Atlanta has lost four straight games. It enters MLB games today with a 54-46 record, nine games behind the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League East standings.

Much of this has been due to injuries. Spencer Strider, a leading Cy Young candidate entering into the season, has been sidelined. Ronald Acuna Jr., a star outfielder, is also out for the season due to an ACL tear suffered in late May.

This doesn’t even account for Michael Harris, Ozzie Albies, and Max Fried, all of whom are now injured.

Even then, the Braves have a 79% probability of making the playoffs. Will this prompt front office chief Alex Anthopoulos to make a huge move before next week’s MLB trade deadline? It appears possible.

Atlanta Braves are among the teams interested in Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Zach Eflin.
According to rumours, Tampa Bay could put the 30-year-old Eflin on the market before the July 30 trade deadline.

The squad is currently 51-51 for the season and does not appear to be a viable playoff contender. This could lead to the trade of certain veterans for prospects.

If that’s the case, the Braves would be an excellent fit for Eflin. He’s having a rough season, going 5-7 with a 4.09 ERA and 1.16 WHIP. Last season, the veteran led the American League in wins with 16, earning a 3.50 and 1.02 ERA.

Chris Sale presently leads the Braves. Sale, who was acquired from the Boston Red Sox this offseason, currently has a 13-3 record with a 2.70 ERA and 0.96 WHIP. Reynaldo López has also done well (2.12 ERA, 1.19 WHIP).

Atlanta requires rotation aid due to Fried’s injury worries and Strider’s season-ending absence. That is for sure.
