Royce Lewis is back with the Twins.
Lewis missed the previous 16 games due to a right adductor issue. This was his second time on the injured list this season; he injured his quad on Opening Day and missed two months.
The 25-year-old third baseman went 1-for-6 in two games with Class AAA St. Paul on his rehab assignment.
Lewis has been hitting for the Twins.292 with 10 home runs and a 1.039 OPS in 24 games.
Lewis has been troubled by ailments throughout his career after being selected first overall by the Twins in the 2017 draft. He has only appeared in 94 major league games during the last three seasons.
To make place on the 26-man roster, catcher Jair Camargo was optioned to St. Paul. Camargo has played five games with the Twins this season and is 0 for 6. He is batting.216 with nine home runs in 33 games with the Saints.
Twins infielders Jose Miranda, Carlos Correa, and Kyle Farmer are still on the 10-day injured list, as is infielder-outfielder Alex Kirilloff.
