Capela, who averaged 11.5 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks last season, has seen some decline as he ages but remains a reliable starting center. His presence would significantly bolster the Lakers’ frontcourt defense alongside Anthony Davis, making it challenging for opponents to drive to the rim.
