NASCAR fans are in for a surprise when Cup Series racing resumes following a two-week Olympic vacation. Ross Chastain’s No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro will debut a brand new paint scheme at Richmond Raceway, thanks to a sponsorship from Jockey International Inc. The Trackhouse Racing car will be painted in Jockey’s signature red, white, and blue, as the brand hopes to exhibit its inventiveness while also launching a new line of apparel through this relationship.
Chastain, who will be looking for his first win of the season to seal a playoff spot, can be confident that all eyes will be on him at Richmond Raceway. The paint job has been favourably received by fans, with many taking to social media to express their thoughts on the No. 1 Chevy’s new look.
Ross Chastain is amazed with Jockey’s ingenuity.
The goal of Jockey’s paint scheme is to create the illusion of transparency, with Ross Chastain sitting in his No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 while wearing only his Jockey Infinite Cool boxer briefs. Without air conditioning, the heat created by the engine, brakes, and driveline can cause cars to reach temperatures of 100-140 degrees Fahrenheit. The paint scheme is Jockey’s means of capturing fans’ attention on television and in the stands while also emphasizing the cooling benefits of their newly launched Jockey Infinite Cool underwear.
