BOARD AGREEMENT: Raiders Have a Board Agreement to Land Red Hot Colorado Buffaloes Football QB After His Dynamic Performance

The college football season has officially begun, and the Las Vegas Raiders’ front office should be keeping a close eye on the nation’s top quarterback. Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders has established himself as a talent to watch, impressing in his season debut against North Dakota State.

He threw for 445 yards and four touchdowns against the Bison, making several highlight reel plays. The Raiders may have the most pressing need at quarterback in the NFL, and many consider Sanders as the ideal candidate.

On August 29, Adam Ferrone of Barstool Sports went to X, saying Sanders is “such a Las Vegas Raider.”
The official X account of Pro Football Focus also shared something similar.
That’s not to add that Raiders star defensive end Maxx Crosby praised Sanders’ performance.
Sanders was eligible for the draft this year, but chose to stay in college for another year. There isn’t much high-end competition at quarterback, so he could be chosen early if he continues to perform well. However, the Sanders family’s apparent attention to detail may work in the Raiders’ favour.

Sanders is projected to be a top-10 choice if he maintains his high level of play. That might pose a problem for the Raiders if they have a successful season in 2024. The squad went 8-9 last season and finished with the 13th pick. With defensive tackle Christian Wilkins, tight end Brock Bowers, and quarterback Gardner Minshew joining the team, it’s difficult to picture them being worse in 2024. Furthermore, Antonio Pierce is the full-time head coach, not the interim.

Fortunately, the Sanders family may be able to assist the Raiders if they choose to choose the Colorado quarterback. Colorado’s head coach and Shedeur’s father, Deion Sanders, is heavily involved and has previously stated that his son will refuse to play for certain teams.

“I know where I want them to go,” Sanders stated on the March 22 episode of the “A Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast. “So, certain cities are not going to happen. It’s going to be Eli Manning.”

Sanders referenced to Eli Manning’s 2004 refusal to play for the Chargers, which resulted in a trade to the NY Giants. It appears that the Sanders family is willing to take a similar action to prevent the quarterback from joining the wrong team.

The Raiders would not have to worry about Sanders declining to play in Las Vegas. Deion Sanders has previously declared that he supports the proposal.

“That would be nice,” Sanders remarked of Shedeur Sanders possibly joining the Raiders, according to a July 10 video uploaded on X by Vegas Sports Today.

Deion Sanders is also a great fan of Pierce. There are likely a few other teams that the Sanders family would feel comfortable with, but the Raiders are tempting for a variety of reasons. Kolton Miller is the team’s elite left tackle. Bowers is a young pass catcher with a promising career, not to mention Michael Mayer. Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers are a formidable wide receiver combo, while Tre Tucker appears to be on the verge of breakout season.

If Sanders joins the Raiders, he will not be part of an offence that requires him to carry a heavy load.
