SHOCKING MOVE: Commanders Makes Shocking Bold Blockbuster Move For NFL Most Wanted WR From AFC +West

The Washington Commanders are gearing up for the first week of the 2024 NFL season versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. One of Washington’s major topics heading into the opening week of the season will be how well rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels performs.
Many people hold high expectations for him. Daniels does not have a great wide receiver core, but players like Davante Adams and others could be available for trade later this season.

ESPN’s Mina Kimes believes that the Washington Commanders will trade for Davante Adams later this season.
Everyone is already aware of two secrets. The first secret is that the Commanders require an additional playmaker for quarterback Jayden Daniels. The second secret is that Davante Adams’ name has been circulating in trade rumours for some time.

Mina Kimes of ESPN appeared on the Dominique Foxworth Show and offered a surprising prediction about the Commanders and Davante Adams. This is what Kimes stated:

“The Commanders strike me as a team that are going to be like just feisty enough to want to do this [trade].”

Last season with the Las Vegas Raiders, Adams caught 103 receptions for 1,144 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 11.1 yards per reception. He was targeted 175 times last season. Davante Adams is 31 years old and might join a squad that is ready to win now.

Adams Will Have Other Suitors and Commanders should draft a wide receiverInstead

Other NFL clubs will need Davante Adams later in the season. The Las Vegas Raiders will most likely move him at the NFL trade deadline. Instead of dealing for Adams, the Washington Commanders should save their draft picks and select a wide receiver in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Terry McLaurin will start at wide receiver for the Commanders this season. Dyami Brown and rookie Luke McCaffrey will be the other wide outs to see action in this offence.

If he were younger, that would make a lot more sense. Washington’s chances of winning the Super Bowl are slim. Adams might return to the Green Bay Packers, or he could be pursued by a team such as the Dallas Cowboys. Travis Hunter, Luther Burden III, or Tetairoa McMillan might be the Washington Commanders’ next big playmaker.
