DONE DEAL: Falcons Bolster Squad Depth With Free Agent Signing Just Now.

The Falcons made an unusual addition earlier today when they announced a deal with free agency offensive lineman Brandon Parker to reinforce their trenches.

Because the Falcons only have 52 active players, there will be no corresponding move, and Parker will join the 53-man roster immediately.

Raiders OL Brandon Parker will miss another season because of injury

Parker was originally picked by the Raiders in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft and appeared in at least 11 games over his first four seasons until being placed on injured reserve in 2022. He returned last year, playing in five games. Parker has started 33 games and made 59 appearances.

Parker entered free agency this offseason and signed with the 49ers, but after remaining in San Francisco throughout training camp, he was unable to make the final 53-man roster.

How Falcons' Kaleb McGary, 'a good ol' country boy,' will live off the grid after football - The Athletic
