Davante Adams, the wide receiver with the Las Vegas Raiders, is widely recognized as the best route runner in the NFL. However, he may have the league’s most remarkable signed jersey collection.
On Wednesday, September 11, the three-time All-Pro went on Kay Adams’ “Up & Adams” show and showed off his jersey wall at home. Drew Brees, Von Miller, Odell Beckham Jr., Justin Jefferson, Mike Evans, Ja’Marr Chase, Stefon Diggs, and Brandon Aiyuk were among the well-known names. Given his newfound status as the NFL’s second-highest-paid wide receiver, one noticeable name was absent from the wall: Dallas Cowboys star CeeDee Lamb. Host Kay Adams couldn’t help but orchestrate a comically awkward scene between two of the NFL’s top pass catchers.
“I’m gonna bring somebody in, and as far as I can tell, you don’t have his jersey, so now we’ve got maybe some drama,” Adams remarked before suddenly bringing Lamb to the show.
Adams quickly reclined in his chair, his hand covering his face in humiliation. “I need that, bro,” Lamb explained to Adams. “Just add me to the list.” Jokes aside, Lamb paid tribute to the 11-year veteran, saying that he uses some of Adams’ methods in his own game. “Really respect his game, respect his craft,” Lamb told Adams. “Clearly, I’ve been following him for a while… I model my game after yours in a variety of ways, including releases, because you’ve nailed it. Congratulations again, bro. I appreciate you. “Keep leading us (wide receivers), and we’ll follow.”
