BREAK THROUGH AT LAST: Broncos Have Reportedly Reached a Blockbuster Trade Agreement To Sign Jets Top Star In A Major Trade Break Through

The Denver Broncos could be looking ahead to the 2025 season to stock up for a run, and this move could help them get a jump start. The Broncos made recent trades with the New York Jets this offseason, sending late-round picks in exchange for quarterback Zach Wilson and defensive end John Franklin-Myers.

The Jets also made a significant trade for stud EDGE rusher Haason Reddick, but in order to do so, they had to release JFM’s salary and allow Bryce Huff to walk in free agency. Reddick has not appeared for the Jets and may be on his way out without even playing a down for them:

Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano have heard that the Jets may have to move Reddick. Reddick and his team are seeking a contract extension, but New York is steadfast in its refusal. It’s a weird situation because either Reddick broke his word or New York didn’t conduct enough research before making this transaction.

Haason Reddick is familiar with the Denver Broncos from his breakout season in 2020 with the Arizona Cardinals, where he played in Vance Joseph’s defence. Joseph is currently the Broncos’ defensive coordinator, so the fit is obvious.

Furthermore, Denver might still benefit from adding to their offensive line, and considering Haason Reddick’s leverage, making this move won’t cost the Broncos much. Over the past four seasons, Reddick has 50.5 sacks, 51 tackles for loss, and 83 quarterback hits. This is in only 66 regular-season games.

Reddick has also missed only one game in his career as he enters the 2024 NFL season. He did not play for the Jets in Week 1, meaning he has missed two games since his NFL career began in 2017.

Broncos QB competition: Zach Wilson

Could Denver trade a promising pass rusher like Baron Browning for Haason Reddick? I mean, if Reddick still intends to not report, New York may have to, as he is in the final year of his deal, so the Jets might end up sending a draft pick for Reddick just to have him not play a down and go in free agency.

If the player does not report, New York will move him, and the match with Vance Joseph and the Denver Broncos would be ideal. A starting EDGE pair of Haason Reddick and Jonathon Cooper, together with a starting DL of Zach Allen, DJ Jones, and John Franklin-Myers, would form one of football’s best fronts.
