SHOCKING UPDATE: Philadelphia Eagles Insider Reveals Status Of Nick Sirianni’s Job Security After Week 3

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New Orleans Saints 15-12 on Sunday afternoon on the road. The Eagles are 2-1 this season, and head coach Nick Sirianni has faced a lot of criticism.
When Philadelphia lost to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2, fans demanded Sirianni’s dismissal. Well, he’ll be scrutinized week after week.
The Athletic’s Tim Graham provides an update on the job security of Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni.
Following the Week 3 games on Sunday, a few members of The Athletic crew responded to some key questions. One of the questions that was raised was:

“Does Sunday’s win over the previously unbeaten Saints cool down Nick Sirianni’s seat, or does the uneven offence and fourth-down backfires keep the heat turned high?”

Tim Graham commented on Sirianni’s job security following the Eagles’ Week 3 victory:

“We know how it works in Philadelphia, where winning alone isn’t always enough. Sirianni become too cute, which is almost intolerable. One lengthy Saquon Barkley run, and Vic Fangio’s defence saved the head coach.

Sirianni’s already battered squad was bashed up even further on Sunday, when All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson and leading receiver DeVonta Smith suffered head injuries. Darius Slay, an All-Pro cornerback, also exited the game late. However, the faux Brotherly Shove gaffe shortly before halftime, along with being shut out for three quarters, will not suffice in Philadelphia, let alone the NFC East. Sirianni had better hope his luck holds out because he won’t last much longer if he keeps coaching cute.”

Injuries to key players will be a major issue for Philadelphia moving ahead. Wide receiver A.J. Brown is already out due to an injury. We’ll see how long Devonta Smith, Lane Johnson, Mekhi Becton, and other Philadelphia Eagles players are out.

The Philadelphia Eagles and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will play off in Week 4. Both teams are 2-1 heading into the season. Tampa Bay eliminated Philadelphia from the playoffs last season, defeating them 32-9. Many people expected Nick Sirianni, the Eagles’ head coach, to be sacked at the time, but he is still in place.

If they win the division and make a run in the playoffs, Sirianni will not be leaving. However, if the Eagles lose in the first round or miss the playoffs, he may not return as head coach in 2025.
